LoHud: Try one of these restaurants opening before year's end in Westchester: Argonne Rose Brewing

By Jeanne Muchnick for Rockland / Westchester Jornal News

In an ideal world, a restaurant opening would be a breeze. But for some owners, unforeseen circumstances, such as permit delays, health inspection issues, and supply chain issues problems, caused some openings to be pushed back. The good news? Most of those obstacles have been cleared.

From Dobbs Ferry to Mohegan Lake, Hartsdale to Harrison, ramen to beer, chocolate to cheese, here's what you can expect to open in the next few weeks or so.

Want to have a drink in a historic church? Soon you'll be able to with the opening of this craft brewery and gastropub. The former St. George's Church, which found new life for many years as The Winery at St George, should open sometime in late December. The new brewing company is owned by Marc and Sarah Capichioni, Dave Pearl, and Peter Martine, the latter of whom has 15-plus years brewing experience. 1715 E Main St, Mohegan Lake, 914-743-1622
